Bonnie L. Nasworthy, 83, of Irwinville, Georgia, died Thursday, January 17, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Monday, January 21, 2013, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Pangle and the Rev. Derrell Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens in Tifton. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Nasworthy was born June 15, 1929, to the late John Wesley and Inda Harvill Farrow in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a former resident of Pensacola, Florida and had lived in the community for the past ten years. She was a homemaker and she loved to shop and attend church. She was a member of Waterloo Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Dethman of Irwinville; stepdaughter: Adena Shi of Hamlet, Indiana; two grandchildren: Jesse Williams and Tarra Granzow both of California; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two nephews: David Long and Joseph Lombardi and one niece: Stacy H. Long. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Nathan Jesse Nasworthy; four sons: Nathan Jesse Nasworthy, Jr., Randy Nasworthy, Calvin Nasworthy and Forrest Nasworthy; three sisters and two brothers.
