Elmer E. "Swede" Anderson, 86, of Noblesville, died at his daughter's residence in Noblesville after a very brief illness.
He was born August 11, 1926 in Daleville, IN, to Warner and Grace (DeHaven) Anderson.
He was a printer at Delco Remy division of General Motors.
He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He is survivors by his daughter, Carolyn (Merv) Simpson of Noblesville; two grandsons, Jeffrey (Stacy) Dayton of Indianapolis and Sean (Janna) Dayton of Westfield; five great grandchildren, Alexcis Bennett; Austin Dayton, Chandler Bennett, Ahlydia Swede Dayton and Wyatt Gabriel Dayton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Ruth Anderson, two brothers Warner Anderson and Clifford Anderson and two sisters, Josephine Miller and Helen Fish.
A celebration or life service will be held on January 23, 2013 at Countryside Manor from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. in the dining room. A private burial took place in Saunders Cemetery in Daleville, IN.
