Angela A. (Mazzamurro) Wice, 74, a long time resident of Hudson, died on Wednesday, Jan. 16th at Worcester Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to the late Robert Wice who died in 2008.
Angela was born and raised in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Anthony and Florence (Pavia) Mazzamurro. She attended local schools in Hartford and was a graduate of Hartford High School. Following high school she spent a short time working for Travelers Insurance Co. of Hartford before moving to Hudson to raise her family. She also was employed for a short time by the Arrow Automotive Co. in Hudson.
Angela took great pride in the raising of her children and enjoyed reading in her spare time. She also enjoyed bowling as a member of several leagues in the area. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, James Wice and his wife Karen of Boston, Pamela Wice and her husband Scott of Bellingham, Mark Wice and his wife Kim of Hudson and Robert Wice and his wife Donna of Ashland. She is also survived by her four loving grandchildren, Brian and Angela Calder; Kristen and Jack Wice and was the sister of the late Joanne Gallucci of Hartford, CT.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Saturday, Jan. 19th from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a service and celebration of Angela’s life on Saturday, Jan. 19th at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
