Richard H. “Dutch” Hassell, age 76, of Atkinson, NH, died Tuesday at the VA Hospital, Manchester, NH.
Born in Somerville, MA, he grew up and was educated in Ayer, MA. Dutch was a bus driver for Trombly Bus Co. in Dracut, MA and was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his long time companion, Brenda R. Smith of Atkinson, NH;
Children, Luke M. Hassell of Atkinson, NH;
Shawn J. and his wife Dawn Higgins Hassell of Bow, NH;
Kenneth Boudreau of Fryeburg, ME;
Leslie Gemignani of Washington State;
Freddie Boudreau of No. Conway, NH;
Paul Boudreau of Texas;
Several Grandchildren including: Kortnei and Hailey Boudreau
Several Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held Saturday Jan. 19th from 1-2 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
