Kenneth F. Foster, Jr, 79, of Whitman, passed away on Tuesday January 15th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of 49 Years to Joan L. (Sowerby) Foster.
He was born and brought up in Stoughton, son of the late Kenneth F. and Margaret (Burke) Foster. Ken was a graduate of Stoughton High School and the Boston Trade School.
Ken has been a Whitman resident for 44 years and was the owner and operator of Ken’s Heating for many years. He was a member of the Whitman and Abington Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by his daughter Johanna O’Toole and her husband Kevin of Florida, his son Scott Foster and his companion Allyson Davis of Brockton, his sister Marjorie Raymond of Methuen; also his 3 grandchildren Kevin, Hannah and Faith, many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late William and Richard Foster.
His services will be held on Saturday January 19th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard funeral chapel, Plymouth St.(Rte 58 at the rotary circle) , Whitman MA. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service from 9:00-11:00AM in the Chapel.
