Glassman, Minnie 89 a resident of the Aviv Center for Living in Peabody and formerly of Everett, Revere and Chelsea passed away on January 15, 2013. Minnie was born in Chelsea and was a resident of Everett for 60 years. Minnie attended the Everett School System and was a graduate of Everett High School. She was a member of Congregation Tifereth Israel of Everett, a member of Congregation Tifereth Israel of Everett Sisterhood, a member of Hadassah, a member of B’Nai Brith City of Hope and a member of the Jack Satter House Tenant’s Association.
Minnie was the beloved wife of Bernard Glassman. She was the devoted mother of Randy Glassman and her husband Paul Summergrad and Audrey Emmer and her husband Neal Emmer. She was the loving daughter of the late Samuel Michaels and the late Sarah Michaels. Minnie was the loving grandmother of Sawyer Emmer, Sophie Summergrad and Michael Summergrad.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Cary Sq., Chelsea on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Everett. For detailed information on Memorial Observance and Shiva will be held immediately following the interment at the home of Randy Glassman and Paul Summergrad until 9:00 PM, Friday at the Jack Satter House Library from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM and will resume Sunday at the home of Randy Glassman and Paul Summergrad from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
