Obituary

Conrad A. Fontaine, 87, of Melbourne, FL died January 11, 2013 after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Whitman, MA December 8, 1925 the son of Achilles and Blanche (Lowell) Fontaine. He attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH then was drafted into the Navy during World War II and served on the USS Pasadena. Upon his return, he attended Syracuse University and George Washington University Law School (Washington, DC) where he received his Juris Doctorate in Law. He lived in Virginia for 40 years and became managing attorney for the Aetna Casualty & Surety Co. Upon retirement, he moved to Richmond, VA then to Florida.

He was predeceased by his wife, Carmen (Paradis) Fontaine, of Manchester, NH, who died in 1975.

Family members include his daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine & Gerard Visco, and three grandchildren, Thomas, Nicole, and Lauren, all of Viera, FL. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, and grandnieces in New England and Florida.

The funeral was held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery where committal prayers took place in the mausoleum chapel.
