FRAMINGHAM: Betty Williams Gibson, 87, a long time Wayland resident, died on Thursday, January 10, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Buffalo, New York on December 14, 1925 the daughter of the late Edward Goodnow Williams and Marguerite (Krusen) Williams.
She was the wife of Robert Hampton Gibson and dearly loved mother of Deb and Al Roberts; Ted and Linda Gibson; Betty Gibson; Bob and Diane Gibson; Dave and Kathy Gibson; and Sara Latessa. Caring grandmother of Jen, Mike, Lauren, Teddy, T.J., Robby, Jessica and Jake, and great-grandmother of Meghan and Owen.
Betty will forever be remembered for her dedication to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 53 Cochituate Rd (Rte 27) Wayland.
At the request of her family, private graveside services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial gifts in Betty’s memory may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. of MA/NH, 480 Pleasant St, Watertown, MA 02472.
