Donald J. “Buddy” Fitzpatrick Sr., age 91, passed away on January 12, 2013.
Donald was the husband of the late Roberta (Palma) Fitzpatrick. She is survived by her 3 children, Ethel R. Berry (Richard) of Galloway, NJ, Donald J. Fitzpatrick Jr. of Weymouth and Kathleen Yannizzi (Philip) of Rockland. Don also leaves 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Buddy was born and grew up in Boston and lived 40 years in Weymouth. He was a Boston Police Officer and a Boston Teacher. During the summer he worked for a Program for the Handicapped in Milton and the Weymouth Park Department. Donald served his country in the Coast Guard during World War II.
Visiting will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday January 18 from 10 to 11 A.M. Immediately followed by the Funeral Service at the Funeral Home at 11 A.M.
