Lt. Col. Michael Leo Kinsella Jr., US Army Ret., 69, of Windham, NH died Monday, January 14, 2013 at the VA Medical Center, Manchester, NH surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 17, 1943 in Boston, MA a son of the late Eileen (Murphy) and Michael L. Kinsella Sr. He graduated from Boston College and later graduated from Command and General Staff College with the US Army. Michael proudly served his country in the US Army during Vietnam, continuing his military career in the National Guard, retiring as Lieutenant Colonel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Janice (Malinowski) Kinsella, two daughters, Leigh A. Kinsella and Dana V. Kinsella, one brother, Kevin Kinsella, one sister, Sheila Wander, many cousins, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Calling hours were held on Thursday January 17, 2013 from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, January 18th at 10:30am in St. Mark’s Church, corner of South Road and Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Burial with military honors followed at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
