Finn, Rowena 80 of Revere and formerly of Framingham passed away on January 12, 2013. Rowena was born in Chelsea and was a resident of Chelsea for 20 years. She attended the Chelsea School System and was a graduate of Chelsea High School, Class of 1949. Following her time in Chelsea, Rowena became a thirty year resident of Framingham. Rowena also lived in Revere for five years. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Elashoff and Warner Accounting Firm and was also a bookkeeper for Goodman Knitting Mills. Rowena enjoyed nitting, dogs and listening to show tunes.
Rowena was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Finn. She was the devoted mother of Melanie Finn. She was the loving daughter of the late Robert Wolfson and the late Mildred Wolfson. Rowena was the dear sister of Denise Grace. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Cary Sq., Chelsea on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Sharon. Memorial observance will be held at the home of Denise Grace immediately following the interment until 8:00 PM and 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday. Donations in Rowena’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
