Jeannette F. Manning, 69, of Derry, NH died Monday July 5, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Manning was born in Dorchester, MA, on January 18, 1935 a daughter of the late, Norman T. and Mary E. (Gallahue) Magee. She had been a longtime resident of the Derry and Londonderry community. She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry Class of 1952. She had worked for several local banks and held various positions including branch manager and head of a loan department. She later worked as a bookkeeper for several local companies. She taught sewing and quilting and also enjoyed cooking. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert I. Manning of Derry, two sons, Robert D. Manning of Derry, Kevin M. Manning of Londonderry, one daughter, Michele Manning of Derry, five grandchildren, Jonathan Manning and Maura Manning, both of Swampscott, MA, Joshua Bruno, Colleen Manning and Craig Chandonnet all of Derry, eight brothers and sisters, also many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday July 19th at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Ave., Derry. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Derry/Salem Home Health and Hospice, 15R East Broadway, Derry, NH 03038. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling arrangements.
