Eric Joseph Gubellini, age 60, of Landaff, NH formerly of Salem, NH and Wilmington passed away unexpectedly on January 10th. Born in Medford he was the cherished son of Carlo E. and Anita (Dionne) Gubellini of Wilmington.
Eric was raised in Wilmington where his family has lived for many years. He was a 1970 graduate of Austin Preparatory High School and following high school he attended Northeastern University. Eric worked for many years as a very talented master carpenter specializing in renovations and fine furniture making. Free spirited, Eric was always looking forward to his next big adventure. He especially enjoyed the outdoors, whether he was fishing, skiing or snowmobiling and he also had a great love of animals.
In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his devoted daughter, Nicole Gubellini of Salem, NH. His loving sisters, Marcella Sweet, and Lisa Esposito and her husband Mark all of Wilmington. He was the uncle of Michael Sweet and his fiancée Alexandra, Daniel Sweet and his wife Sarah, Celeste Scifo and Joseph Esposito. He is also survived by his aunt, Rose Gubellini of Winchester.
A memorial service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington, on Wednesday, January 16th, at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment services will be private. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Eric’s memory to the Arthritis Foundation MA Chapter, Inc., 29 Crafts St., Chatham Center, Newton, MA 02458.
