Charles Edward Farley,SR. age 83, formerly of Douglas, GA passed away in the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA, on January 11, 2013 after an extended illness. He was born on May 3, 1929 in Birmingham, AL to the late Ernest Stenzil and Mary Demoulin Stenzil. He retired from the US Air Force after serving more than 21 years.
He is survived by one daughter: Barbara Dean and one grandson: Jonathan (Catherine) Dean, both of Houston, TX. Sister and Bro in Law: Audrey and Johnny Knight, Douglas, GA; Sisters in Law: Betty Harper and Caroline Farley, SC; Joyce Arnold, Douglas, GA.; Brother in Law: Gerald and Sheila Harrell, Douglas, GA.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until time of Graveside service on January 14,2013 at 4:00 PM at Douglas City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
