Josephine "Josie" Russo, age 90. A lifelong resident of Woburn passed away January 11, 2013 at the Woburn Nursing Center, after a brief illness. Born October 22, 1922 in Woburn, Josephine was the daughter of the late Catherine (Bastolla) Russo & John Russo.
Josie will always be remembered as a kind and gentle woman with a heartwarming smile.
Josephine is survived be her loving and devoted sister Margaret DeLuca and her husband Ralph of Woburn. Sister-in-law of Helena "Judy" Russo, Ann Russo, and Louis DiMambro all of Woburn. Loving sister of the late Catherine Leonti, Ann Johnson, Amelia Archuleta, Mary DiMambro, Peter, John, Anthony, Benjamin and Samuel Russo. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN, Monday, January 14th at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
