Linda Faye Davis Riggins Benniefield, age 65, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Riggins was born on March 18, 1947, in Douglas, GA to the late William Timothy and Marie Douglas Davis.
Survivors include: two daughters: Elva Marie Riggins, of Denton, GA and Christine McCallum of Waycross, GA, one brother: Charles Davis, of Douglas, GA, two sisters: Brenda Law, of Columbus, GA and Ann Palmer, of Vance AL, six grandchildren: Jamie Williams Reliford, Gabriel Patrick, Katelin Brooke Rangel, Luis Rangel, Robbie Timothy Riggins, and Timmy Paul Riggins, four great grandchildren, and step grandson: Christopher Veal. She is preceded in death by a son, Robert Timothy Riggins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gregory Pope officiating. Interment followed at Royals Chapel Cemetery.
