LAUB, Phyllis J. of Winchester on Thursday, January 10, 2013. After a long illness, aged 65. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Pauline and Leo Laub of Winthrop, MA. She is survived by her sister Terry Laub who cherished her and she will be missed by loving family and friends. Phyllis was a loving and gentle spirit, was a great dancer, an avid skier and loved traveling. Professionally Phyllis worked in the Boston hotel and hospitality industry. Unbeknownst to many, she was also the winner at age 10, of the Laub sisters’ Olympic bed jumping contest. A special thank you to all of the caring, compassionate staff at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester. Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Avenue, Chelsea, MA on Sunday, January 13th at 8:45AM. Interment in Tifereth Israel of Winthrop Cemetery, Everett.
