Valerie J. Anderson, 55, of New Bedford died Wednesday January 9, 2013 at home peacefully in her sleep.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Christina (Enos) Anderson of Lithonia, Georgia, and the late Arthur Anderson, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Valerie attended Active Day. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother; her siblings, Arthur Anderson, Jr. and his wife Jane of West Dennis, and Tracey DeBarros and Cheri Hayes and her husband Daniel, all of Lithonia; two nieces and three nephews; and her Better Community Living family.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 6 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours Saturday 4-6 PM prior to the service. Please omit flowers.
