Pauline B. (King) Yelle-Semas of Norton passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Epoch of Norton, at age 94.
Born at Morton Hospital in Taunton on December 28, 1918 she was the daughter of the late George A. King and Ethel E. (Bragg) King.
She is survived by three sons, George A. Yelle and his wife Janet and Donald R. Yelle and his wife Mary all of Norton, and Albert F. Yelle and his wife Nicholina of Deland, FL. Her two daughters, Debra A. (Semas) Titus-Lorray and her husband George of Middleboro and Nancy A. (Semas) Neville and her husband Steve of Marion.
She was the grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Albert F. Yelle and the late Joseph Semas; and sister of the late Marion (King) Pritchard. She is also survived by 2 nieces.
She was a lifelong resident of Norton and a descendant of the first settler of Norton. During WWII she worked at the Providence Shipyard. She also worked at Swank, Inc. in Attleboro for many years.
She volunteered at the Norton Historical Society for 15 years. She enjoyed going to yard sales on Saturday with her daughter Nancy and was an avid gardener; and had a great love of cats.
Private funeral services will be held at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home followed by burial in the Norton Center Cemetery in Norton.
