Manchester-----Marcel M. Jean, 90, of 11 Lebel Avenue, died at the Merrimack Hospice House on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.
Mr. Jean was born September 11, 1922 in Manchester, N.H. He was one of eleven children of Charles and Odena (Chevalier) Jean.
Mr. Jean served in the U. S. Army during WWII and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester. He had been employed as an accountant in the textile and electronics industries.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Jane (Sargent) Jean, of Manchester; a son, Mitchell Jean, of Laconia; a daughter, Leona Jean, of Hooksett; two grandchildren, Evan McDonough and Alison McDonough, both of Peterborough, N.H.; a sister, Pauline Parmelee, and many nephews and nieces.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00AM in the Chapel at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, N.H.
