Shirley Linda Peterson, age 65, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Hazlehurst Court and Rehab, in Hazlehurst, GA following a brief illness. Mrs. Peterson was born on September 11, 1947, in Douglas, GA to the late James Clyde and Annie Irene Carver Hall.
Survivors include: three sons: Shawn Parker Lane, Tokyo, Japan, Brantley Boatright, and Jamie Boatright, both of Bristol, GA, stepson: Richard Peterson, of Douglas, GA, stepdaughter: Patricia Peterson Evans, of Douglas, GA, two brothers: Clyde Hall and D.C. Chauncey, Jr., both of Douglas, GA, two sisters: Margaret Troupe, of Indiana and Charlene Clark, of Macon, GA, and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11 from 5-8 pm at Clyde Hall's residence at 2937 Old Waycross Hwy. Douglas, GA.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lone Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Ann Braswell and Rev. Butch Hicock officiating.
