Wanell Johnson, age 82, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013, at Shady Acres. Mrs. Johnson was born on October 9, 1930, in Douglas, GA to the late Reason and Doll Lamb Sapp.
Survivors include: two sons: Jimmie LaVan (Latrelle) Johnson, of Douglas, GA and Gary Lee (Constance) Johnson, of Fitzgerald, GA, sister: Bertie Gray, of Douglas, GA, brother: Billy Sapp, of Douglas, GA, five grandchildren: Kelly Donaldson, of Hahira, GA, Cody Lee Johnson, of Nicholls, GA, Lacy Johnson, of Fitzgerald, GA, Chris Johnson, of Douglas, GA, and Corey Johnson, of Douglas, GA, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Johnson, a son, Sidney Ray Johnson and brother, Lucious Sapp.
Visitation will bel held on Wednesday, January 9 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God with Rev. Marshall Adcock and Rev. Joey Dean officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery.
