Barbara Lois Liverett, 80, of Clarksville, TN, died on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at her residence. She was born on May 24, 1932 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to the late Leander Shelton and James Lois Shelton. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis (Scooter) Shelton and Harold (Pete) Shelton.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Bobby Kail officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday January 12, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Barbara was a foster grandparent.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne (Donna) Liverett of Clarksville, TN and Michael (Jackie) Liverett of Hilo, HI; three daughters, Linda Diane Gates of Dover, TN, Connie Marie (Charlie) Sweeney of Erin, TN, and Teresa Sue (Nick) Manzella of Clarksville, TN; brother, Lee Douglas (Annette) Shelton of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters, Sally Rebecca Clinard of Big Rock, TN and Sue Anna (Bud) Booth of Clarksville, TN; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Nick Liverett, Luke Liverett, Jake Liverett, Steve Wright, Danny Smith, and Shawn Newberry.
