TEWKSBURY: Denise K. (Kiely) Evans, age 72, a resident of Tewksbury for 48 years, formerly of Quincy, passed away at the Willow Manor in Lowell, on Monday, January 7, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of Bruce C. Evans, who passed away on October 4, 1990.
Born in Quincy on November 23, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Dennis Kiely and the late Rita "Grace" (Biggs) Kiely.
Denise was raised in Quincy, attended Quincy schools and graduated from Quincy High School. Following high school, she attended Salem State College and graduated from Middlesex Community College.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 27 years as a paralegal by the Law Offices of Attorney Marvin Greenberg in Woburn.
Denise resided in Tewksbury since 1964 and attended St. William's Church.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed her time with her family and grandchildren.
Denise is survived by one son, Mark E. Evans of Athol; three daughters, Marla G. (Evans) Cote of Tyngsboro, Maurine E. (Evans) Bowman of Dunstable and Joanne K. (Evans) Torre and her husband Nick of Tewksbury; six grandchildren, Nicolas Torre, Ryan and Kathryn Cote, Hannah, Kevin and Kyle Bowman.
Calling hours are Thursday, Jan. 10, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 11, at 9 a.m., from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Those who wish may make a donation in her memory to the Bruce C.
