Mary G. (Murphy) King, age 90, passed away on January 8, 2013. Mary is survived by her husband of 61 years of James J. King, her 2 children, Jacquelyn King and Jay King and his wife Alice, and her grandchildren, Stephanie and Joshua King. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary (Conway) Murphy and her brother, John J. Murphy.
Mary was born and grew up in Boston and has lived in Weymouth for the last 59 years. She worked in the headquarters of Howard Johnson’s in Braintree and was a Prefect for the St. Francis Xavier Women’s Sodality.
The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday, January 12 at 9 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be Friday from 4 to 6 P.M. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in S. Weymouth
