Helen JoAnn Ake Anderson, 85, of Clarksville, TN, died on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center. She was born on April 23, 1927 in Bear Lake, Michigan to the late Charles Ake and Lula Bolinger Ake. She was also preceded in death by twelve siblings.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Oak Grove, KY.
Helen was a dedicated homemaker and member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Roger D. Anderson of Clarksville, TN; three sons, Dennis (Bonnie) Anderson of Oak Wood, TN, Marty (Maxine) Anderson of Ozark, AL, and Brent (Cathy) Anderson of Springfield, TN; daughter, Sheryl Hawkins of Wesley, ME; twelve grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
