Taylor, Shelby David, 58, of Louisville entered into heaven on January 5, 2013 at Audubon Hospital. He was a member of Shively Christian Church where he served as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and was a spiritual mentor to many youth. Shelby retired from the production department at Zoeller Pump Co. and was a former employee of Henry Vogt Machine Co./Flow Serve. He was a loving husband, father, son and uncle and will be greatly missed.
Survivors incl ude his loving wife of 14 years, Glenda Sue (Wilson) Taylor; daughter, Susan Swessel; and aunt, Betty Hoover.
Funeral service will be noon Wednesday at Shively Christian Church, 1822 Kendall Lane with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Tuesday 1-8 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and Wednesday 11 until the service at church.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Shively Christian Church.
