Obituary

Mrs. Lillian Uglietta, age 87 of Medford, died Thursday in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford. She is the beloved wife of Anthony Uglietta with whom she shared more than 64 years of marriage.
Mrs. Uglietta was born in Medford, the daughter of the late Michael and Vincenza (Polito) Macaluso. Mrs. Uglietta was a Medford native and has lived her entire life in the same family home. In earlier years she worked for the Liberty Market in Medford and also in the East Boston store in the meat department. She retired around 1962. She was a congenial woman and enjoyed dancing, cooking and occasional trips to Foxwoods. She was considered an expert in sewing and loved making beautiful garments. She was always dressed fashionably. Nothing gave her more enjoyment than spending time with her family, grand and great grandchildren. She had been a member of the VFW in Saugus, Malden Moose and the Woburn Club. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Ann Carol Ruberti and her husband Giovanni of Medford, Diane Vincent and her husband Garry of AL. Beloved grandmother of John and Jaclyn Ruberti, Michael, Tiffany, Christina and Jonathan Vincent. Great Grandmother of Chase Anthony Ruberti and Cameron John Ruberti. Dear sister of Viola Fondren and her husband Bud of FL and the late Vincenza Kerrigan, Mary Richards, Charles and Adolph Macaluso. Funeral from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main Street Medford on Tuesday at 9:00 am. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street Medford at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 pm.
Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Donations in Lillian's name may be sent to the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center, 120 Murray Street, Medford MA. 02155
