WOONSOCKET, RI – Robert A. Greene, husband Natalie L. (Ridl) Greene of Woonsocket, died at the Landmark Medical Center of Woonsocket on Jan. 3, 2013.
He was 50 years old.
Born, raised and educated in Taunton, he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Hilda (Grace) Greene.
Robert served in the U.S. Army and was later employed as a mold maker by the Poly Top Company of Smithfield, RI.
An Avid New England Patriots fan, he enjoyed spending time at the ocean and listening to music, especially the Grateful Dead.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Courtney Pike of Taunton; two brothers, Harold E. Cromwell of Longmeadow, MA and John H. Cromwell of New Britain, CT; three sisters, Edith L. Norman of East Hartford, CT, Robin A. Greene of Providence, and Tina L. Slavick of Taunton; a grandson, Mason Spinney of Taunton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Wayne Cromwell.
Calling Hours will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Monday, Jan. 7th from 5 to 8 p.m.
Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 8th at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
