Mary L. Wright
Augusta, GA – Mary L. Wright of Augusta, GA died peacefully, January 3, 2013. She was the daughter of Clarence C. Wright, Sr. and Ruth McDonnell Wright and sister of the late Jim Wright and Shirley Moore.
Ms. Wright was a life long resident of Augusta, GA and a member of the Martinez Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a faithful member of Pine View Baptist Church. Ms. Wright retired from Savannah River Plant after 38 years.
Ms. Wright is survived by sons: Larry B. Wright (Pamela) of Edgefield, SC and David C. Wright, Sr. (Kris) of Martinez; daughter: Linda W. Davis (Joe) of Honolulu, HI; grandchildren: Kimberly Jackson, Angelia W. Swearingen, Robert B. Davis, David C. Wright, Jr., Tucker B. Davis, Natalie Davis, Evan Wright and Emily Wright; and, 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Davis, David C. Wright, Jr., Evan Wright, Austin Randolph, H.L. Jackson and Stan Huffman.
