Robert J. Ward, 91, of Clarksville, TN, died on Thursday, January 4, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on December 5, 1921 in Orange, New Jersey to the late Raymond Antony Ward and Theadora Letch Ward.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Interment will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY.
Robert was an engineer and U.S. Army Veteran having served in WWII. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ward of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Donald (Jerry) Ward of North Carolina and Phil (Judy) Ward of Woodlawn, TN; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
