Margie Coker Guyton, 76, of Belleview, Florida, formerly of Omega, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph Crumley and Bishop Charles Lott will officiate with a eulogy to be given by Kristle Kappler, Ms. Guyton's granddaughter. Interment will follow in Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 7, 2013, from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Guyton was born on May 13, 1936 and was raised in South Georgia. She has been a resident of Belleview, Florida for more than 40 years. She was one of eight children of Thomas and Lona Coker, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Grantham; and one brother, Gerald Coker.
Margie leaves behind one son, James Revels; two daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Bruce Dotten of Belleview, Florida and Sandi and Ray Gillespie of Ocklawaha, Florida; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey Coker and Arthur Coker; and three sisters, Nellie Fields, Merle Slater and Peggy Edgley.
