David C. Williams, 58, of Bristol, RI, died at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA on January 1, 2013. David was the son of the late Herbert and Judith (Resek) Williams. He was the beloved husband of Elena (Degtyareva) Williams and the loving father of Lily, Emma, Nicholas, George, Andrew, and Matthew. He also leaves his sisters Megan and Annie Williams both of NY, and three nieces and two nephews.
David was born in Jamestown, NY and grew up in San Francisco, CA. Before studying culinary arts and graduating from Newbury College in Boston, David was a deep sea fisherman in Puerto Rico and Newport Rhode Island. He traveled the world before settling on the east coast and making his home in Bristol R.I. where he owned and operated a bakery.
He enjoyed reading, fishing, and spending time with his family.
His last days were kept in the company of family and friends of whom he said, “This is wonderful, not one is missing.” Though all too soon for those who survive him, David passed away peacefully and will be deeply missed. Memory eternal!

~A funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday January 5th at 10:00 A.M. also at St. Mark of Ephesus Orthodox Church.
~Burial will be in The Gardens at Gethsemane West Roxbury, MA.
