Marcy Hulett, 57, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. Hulett was born September 27, 1955 in Douglas to Jack and Hazel Corbitt Peterson. A 1973 graduate of Nathan Forrest High School in Jacksonville, Florida, she attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia. She was a former cross-country truck driver and a former employee of H.R. Kaminsky & Sons and Shaw Industries. Ms. Hulett received her cosmetology license at Ben Hill-Irwin Technical College. Formerly of the Chateau, she was the owner/operator of Marcy’s Designs and Sweet Creations. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughters: Cyndi K. Hulett-Hunt & Larry of Green Cove Springs, FL, Katrina D. Hulett & her fiancé: John David Grantham of Fitzgerald, and Kayla C. Hulett & Jatory Lundy of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Savannah D. Hernandez and Jaidyn Lundy, both of Fitzgerald, and Ashley Nicole Hunt of Moultrie; her father: Jack Peterson of Jacksonville, FL; her mother: Hazel Peterson of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters: Frances Cornett of Green Cove Springs, FL, Jackie Peterson of Fountain, CO, and Char Brooks of Fleming Island, FL; one brother: Hosie Peterson of Jacksonville, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
