Aurea L. Vilandre 89, formerly of Greenville, Rd., died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Lionel Vilandre. Born in Manville, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Bertha (Boss) Martin. Mrs. Vilandre was an assembler for Reliance Products for many years before retiring in 1985.
She is survived by a daughter Nancy Lariviere and her husband Rene of North Smithfield, a daughter-in-law Janet Vilandre of Hopkington, a brother Robert Martin of FL., and two grandsons, Jason Lariviere and his wife Amy and Joseph Vilandre. She was pre-deceased by her son Normand “Pete” Vilandre.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in St. John’s Church, Church St. in Slatersville, burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
