Obituary

James C. Johnson Sr, 90, of Pembroke died January 1, 2013 at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Wilmington, DE on May 8, 1922, the son of Vaughn and Nalletta (Chambers) Johnson. He was educated in the Delaware school system.
He served in the US Marines during both World War II and the Korean War.
Prior to retirement, he had been a draft room supervisor in the electronics industry for many years.
He was a longtime member of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge in Concord.
Jim enjoyed woodworking and caring for animals. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving husband and father who cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, M. Theresa (Gallant) Johnson of Pembroke; three sons, Brian K. Johnson and wife Michelle of Suncook, James C. Johnson Jr. and wife Kathleen of Hudson, Bruce J. Johnson and wife Joyce of Sandown; seven grandchildren; seven great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
