Obituary

Anthony “Leo” Janulewicz, 77, a resident of Derry, NH died on Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Parkland Medical Center.

Leo was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on June 5, 1935 to Anthony and Anna Janulewicz. He was educated in Lawrence schools and a 1953 graduate of Lawrence High School. For over 25 years he worked as a foreman at Commodore Foods in Lowell. He also worked as a maintenance foreman at the William X. Wall Experimental Station in Lawrence for 15 years until his retirement.

Over the years his hobbies included fishing ,canoeing, deer hunting , archery and tinkering at home. He was an all around handyman with a talent for fixing almost anything and willing to share his talents with everyone.

He enjoyed walking around Lawrence and made many friends on his daily excursions. He will be remembered by all for his friendly spirit, booming voice and quirky sense of humor.

His most cherished time was spent with his loving family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Rita (Cormier) Janulewicz, his children: Lee Ann Jewell and her husband Richard, Wendy Janulewicz, and Scott Janulewicz, grandchildren: Kristen Jewell, Melanie (Jewell) Hansen and her husband Ryan, Ali Janulewicz and Lex Rage.

Arrangements: A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 7:00PM at St. Augustine Chapel of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, 128 Ames Street, Lawrence, MA.
