Charles Douglas Harrison, 60, of Clarksville, TN, died on Monday, December 31, 2012 at Skyline Medical Center. He was born on March 23, 1952 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to the late Herschel Harrison and Frances Bowers Harrison.
Funeral service will be held on January 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Chris Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. and Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Charles was a mason by trade and owner of Charles D. Harrison Construction. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Olivet Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jennifer McCormack Harrison of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Jeremy Douglas Harrison (Amy) of Goodlettsville, TN and Kevin Reynolds Harrison (Sarabeth) of Madison, AL; brother, Timothy O. Harrison (Wanda) of Clarksville, TN; sister, Sharon Gayle Harrison of Clarksville, TN; and four grandchildren, Sophie Harrison, Jasper Harrison, Mason Harrison, and Elijah Harrison.
Pallbearers will be Scott Harrison, Thomas Laster, Fulton Wilson, Timothy Hagewood, Harold Bowers, and David Deason.
