Ruth M. (Mitchell) Kelsoe, age 92, of Brockton, died December 29, 2012 at Grove Manor Estates in Braintree following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Leonard I. Kelsoe. Born and raised in Allston, Ruth was the daughter of the late William S. and Jennie V. (Colomey) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Brighton High School, class of 1938. A resident of Brockton since 1959, Ruth had been employed by Cardinal Cushing Hospital for several years. For many years she and her husband were volunteers for Meals on Wheels in Brockton. She enjoyed tending to her yard and listening to music.
Ruth is survived by her three daughters Elaine Patton of Rehoboth, Dorothy Collins of Dallas, TX and Jean Sessine of Plymouth; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William Mitchell, Jr., Helen, George and Christopher Mitchell, Jane Houston and Esther Gallagher.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday at 10am in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
