Johnson, Edward A. of Westwood, formerly of Wellesley, Osterville, Pocasset and Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on December 27, 2012 at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his first wife Florence Skoog Johnson, wife of 57 years, and his second wife Mary Hazard Johnson of Westwood. He is also preceded in death by his son Bradford and his wife Margo, and his daughter Pamela Bassett. He is survived by his loving daughter Cynthia J. Herring and her husband William of Lexington. He is also survived by his grandchildren Heidi Calandro and Heather Bassett of Cheshire, CT, Lindsay Shaw of Needham, Sarah Malmberg of Franklin, Elizabeth Herring of Somerville, and Andrew Herring of Lexington, and three great-grandchildren. Ed was born in Providence, RI and was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He was Vice President of Barry Wright Corporation in Watertown. Former member of Weston Golf Club in Weston, Oyster Harbors in Osterville, and The Del Ray Beach Club in Del Ray, FL.
A celebration of Ed’s life will take place on Saturday, January 12 from 2 – 4 pm at Fox Hill Village in Westwood. Interment private.
