Marjorie A. (Heffernan) Freeley, age 81, of Framingham, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012. She was the cherished wife of the late James F. Freeley, Jr. with whom she shared forty-nine years of marriage.
Raised in Watertown, MA, Marjorie was the daughter of the late John E. Heffernan and Mary (Barnes) Heffernan. Marjorie, a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School in Watertown and Katharine Gibbs in Boston, was a legal secretary in Boston and was known for her kindness, loyalty, and sense of humor. She loved caring for her dogs and spending time with family and friends.
Marjorie is survived by her loving children, James F. Freeley, III and his wife Deborah of Hudson, and Marjorie A. Freeley of Framingham. She was the grandmother of Bridget, and the dear sister of Mary Boudreau and her husband Gerald of Watertown and John E. Heffernan, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Millbury. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, Nov. 29th at St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, followed by burial at Glenwood Cemetery.
