Juanell Jewell Ortiz, age 79, of Douglass, GA passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Ortiz was born on July 26, 1932, in Hazlehurst, GA to the late Richard Jewell and Sarah Mizell Jewell.
Survivors include: her husband: Ramon Ortiz, of Douglas, GA, two daughters: Joy O. (Ricky) Smith, of Ambrose, GA and Camellia O. (Stanley) Spivey, of Douglas, GA two sons: Emilio (Janice) Ortiz and Reinaldo (Louise) Ortiz, both of Douglas, GA, two brothers: Bobby (Pauline) Jewell and Joe (Shirley) Jewell, both of Douglas, GA, one sister: Dorothy Mae Crosby, both of Douglas, GA, eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Ashley Wood and Bishop Jerry Waldron officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery.
