Margaret Faye Register Williams, 80, of Enigma died Friday, December 28, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012, at Union Grove Church of God. Rev. Marv Williams, and Rev. Joseph Crumley will officiate with burial to follow in Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County. Cory Proctor, Jason Prickett, Wade Hennum, Steve Sewell, Richy Grimes, Brandon Prickett, Andrew Prickett and Gerold Peele will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Williams will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Williams was born on May 8, 1932 in Cook County and was the daughter of Glen Register and Estelle Smith Register, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one son, Felton Ray Williams; one brother, Ken Register; and two sisters, Irene Stewart and Joyce Zentz. She was a member of Union Grove Church of God and had lived in Enigma for 62 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed flowers, working in her vegetable garden and loved her Church and the Lord.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Ralph Williams of Enigma; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Dale Williams of Lawrenceville and Mike and Teresa Williams of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dennis Proctor of Enigma; two brothers, Elzie Register of Tifton and Donald Register of Miami, Florida; four sisters, Iris Williams of West Berrien, Virginia Exum of Tifton, JoAnn Usry of Aiken, South Carolina and Betty Marshall of Sycamore; seven grandchildren, Missy Prickett, Jeannie Hennum, Jennifer Sewell, Jill Grimes, Cory Proctor, Tara Williams and Erin Proctor; and ten great-grandchildren.
