Obituary

Jean Kosydar, Olyphant, died Wednesday at home. She was the wife of Bernard Kosydar. The couple would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on Jan. 25, 2013.

Born in Olyphant, daughter of the late Mary Novajosky, she was a graduate of Olyphant High School and was employed before retirement at the Billig Shoe Co., Peckville. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant. She was baptized and married in Holy Ghost Parish and later was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Olyphant.

She passed away peacefully.

The family would like to thank Dr. Linda Thomas and Nancy Greer, PA-C; also Dr. Kenneth Jacobs and Dr. Martin Hyzinski.

Surviving are four sons, Bernard Jr. and wife, Angela, Dickson City; William and wife, Cheryl, Dickson City; Thomas and wife, Debbie, Dickson City; and James and wife, Linda, of Tomkinsville; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church. Interment, St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Blakely.

Friends may call Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Cross Parish Organ Restoration Fund.
