BRIAN D. WHITE, 55, of Weymouth, formerly of Hingham, passed away suddenly on Monday, Dec. 24th, 2012. He was raised and educated in both Weymouth and Hingham. He was associated with the Hanover Department of Public works for many years. Brian was a former volunteer firefighter for the Hingham Fire Dept. and also was a volunteer for Hingham Girl's Softball and Hingham Troop #1 of the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, he was an active member and trustee of the Quincy Community United Methodist Church.
He was the husband of Nancy E. (Parker) White of Weymouth and father of Zachary Edward White and Bryan Robert White both of Whitman. Brother of Sandra A. Leach and her husband Kenneth of St. Cloud, Florida, Robert W. White and his wife Barbara of Hanson, Cheryl E. Wigmore and her husband Timothy of Duxbury, Donald E. White and his wife Paula of Pembroke and the late Irene E. Thompson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 at 1 PM at the Quincy Community United Methodist Church, 40 Beale St., Quincy. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. Rather than flowers, donations in Brian's memory would be appreciated to the White Children Memorial Fund, c/o Hingham Institution for Savings, 55 Main St., Hingham, MA 02043.
