LANZILLO- Of Chelsea, December 23rd, Ruth M. (Perry). Devoted wife of the late Richard Lanzillo. Beloved mother of Richard Lanzillo of Florida, Denise Domelowicz of Peabody, Robert Lanzillo and his wife Catherine of Chelsea, James Lanzillo and his wife Tara of Revere and Paul Lanzillo and his wife Debra of Saugus. Sister of the late Donalda, Joseph and Lillian. Cherished grandmother of Paul, Stephen, Kimberly, Kelly, Christopher, Kristen, Richard and Derek and Great grandmother of Aundraya, Nevaeh, Amaya and the late Arianna. Also lovingly survived by her niece, Doris Sullivan and her husband Larry of Melrose as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Friday, December 28th at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, Chelsea at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Thrsday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
A lifelong Chelsea resident, at 83 years of age, Ruth passed away at the Chelsea Skilled Nursing and Rehab Sunday afternoon. During her working years, she worked for J.J. Newbury, as a labeler for Modine Paint, an assembler for Deneral Electric in East Boston and at Gorins Meat also in East Boston.
