John G. Twinem, Jr., 29, of Londonderry, NH died Saturday December 22, 2012 at his home. He was born in Malden, MA on December 28, 1982, the son of John G. and Jacqueline (Hickey) Twinem. A resident of Londonderry for the past six months, John was raised and educated in Malden. John graduated from Malden Catholic High School, class of 2001 and from Salem State University in Salem, MA, class of 2011, with a BS degree in nursing. He proudly served his country with the US Army 82nd Airborne stationed in Iraq as a medic with the Special Forces unit. He was an avid wrestler and loved to watch professional football, especially the New England Patriots.
In addition to his parents of Londonderry, John is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly.
There are no calling hours. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, December 29th at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Graveside services with military honors were held Monday, December 31st at 11:00am in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to the charity of one’s choice.
