Emil Walter “Junie” Kaelin 77 passed away Friday December 21, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He retired from the former American Saw &Tool now Vermont American, a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and a Army veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Marlene (Noon), parents Emil and Catherine H. Kaelin,a brother Wilfried. He is survived by his five children: Stephen ‘Steve” Kaelin (Tammy), Emil Walter “Walt” Kaelin II, Eric W. Kaelin (Gail), William “David” Kaelin and Teresa Ann Crump. One brother Alvin Kaelin, two sisters Mary Lou Harbert and Judy Ann Neckar. Seven grandchildren Clifford, Sheffield, Weston, Joshua, Natalie, Gavin and Maximus.
His funeral will be 11am Friday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church 5431 Johnsontown Road with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1pm to 8pmThursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
