DOROTHY RUTH (BOWIER) HICKS, 91, passed away on December 24, 2012.
She was a retired employee of Melton Food Mart and a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Hicks; her son, James Hicks; and daughter, Judith vonClef.
Survivors include her children, Donald Hicks (Dorothy), Myra Thompson (Bob), and Dennis “Wayne” Hicks (Laura); daughter-in-law, Cheryl Hicks; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Thursday.
