Betty Jean (Needham) Heath, age 82 of Anderson died December 22, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born July 1, 1930 in Hammond, Louisiana to Henry P. and Nettie (Culbreath) Needham.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gourmet cooking.
She was a lifetime member of the Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Richard) Ellsworth of Muncie and her son Earl (Teresa) Heath Jr. of Anderson; 5 grandchildren, Ryan (Christine) Ellsworth, Lucas Ellsworth, David Heath, Daniel Heath, Rebekah Heath; nieces Virginia Ree Needham of Metairie, LA and Cheri Jean Watson of Forth Worth, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dr. Earl J. Heath, Sr. and her brother Bobby Joe Needham.
Service will be 12:00 noon Thursday, December 27, 2012 with Rev. Earl J. Heath Jr. and Rev. Eugene F. Fauntleroy officiating. Visitation will begin Thursday at 10:00 A.M. until noon followed by the service at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
